i have a large durant as well. i have never been certain whether it is original or not. it has the three stars and the made in Germany stamped in clearly just like my original one. it also has an old mirror with slight discoloration spots on it.
however it does not have one of the bolts fixed to the base (both can come out) and the join between the round mirror and the base is slightly different to the one on my car. It looks like it has been repaired where the original fixed bolt was - see photo. I bought it as an original but would need to have a couple of people see it and compare it with the mirrors on some cars before i would swear to it - hence it had sat on the wall for a long time being ignored. I originally bought it as a spare in case something happened to mine. i may let it go to a good cause but only after i work out if it is real or not

Porsche is now selling the early visors again. Almost impossible to find decent originals.

They are in LHD only, which means the mirror is in front of the driver and you can check your look...

I mentioned them to Andy yesterday and seemed very excited at the prospect of watching himself drive. "Fully sik mate"

    Mirrors:

Chris is it a 125mm mirror and if so how much ??
Hugh would you mind bringing it down to the island ?? along with a price guide.
Two seperate applications so it's nice and friendly !

    Interior lights:

Also looking for a plastic part from hood liner interior light.
I found that one of mine is broken, see pic attached.

    Sun visors:

These look great and cheaper than I thought perhaps $200 landed for pair. Has anyone had any luck restoring old ones.

    Front and rear Shocks:

Need a pair for each application, looking for standard ride, have already changed torsion bars, I have Bilsteins front and rear and don;'t want to fiddle with settings. Swap each pair in and out. or thats my plan....

If anyone has any I can determine the front strut types on my return after the weekend.

    Thanks gents

I have shocks which came out of the L last year - that should suit your application Andy.

Will need to check on them - but am fairly sure they are Konis.
