Ooops - made a mistake at the Literature Meet on Saturday...

Hi everyone. Goofed up on Saturday. I bought a blue 906 print from a guy who was at the meet. He had it on display earlier in the day, but then he started to pack up and had his son put it away in the car. I paid him for it, but then forgot to go pick it up! (duh). I was hoping that someone might be able to help me track the seller down?

    - The guy was located on the far side of the big room, sortof in the middle, but maybe three rows in from the end. If you walked into the room from the entrance, he would have been located around 1 or 2 o'clock. Nearish the seller who was selling all of those little 1/87 Porsche & VW models.

    - He was selling a total of three framed prints. The blue 906 print was listed at $300 (I offered and paid him $200). He also had an original framed 904 Porsche Poster (the very large one) for $2500. He had one more print, but I can't remember what it was.

    - He had his son with him helping him. He was wearing a dark jacket. His name might have been something like "Tom Brown" from his nametag, but I can't fully recall. I think he was local, because he talked about loading the stuff into his car, and you couldn't really ship those types of prints either.

Thanks in advance for your help! I feel pretty stupid, and I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened!

I would contact Wayne Callaway and crew to get contact info. I am going to try to locate the person that left an item (that they had purchased from another vendor) at my table as well! I tried to leave it at "Lost & Found" but unfortunately, there was none...

Thanks everyone, I called Tom Drummond, and he gave me Ron's info, and I'm going to send someone to go pick it up later on this week! More important than the $200, it was a pretty cool print that I had never seen before.

    thx

Glad to hear that worked out. It gets interesting at the end for sure. Stoddard almost packed up one of my Rudge wheels. In their defense though, I almost packed up a case of their new high heat paint.

Wayne, glad that worked out, but 29 posts! Good gawd man, you've got to hang out more often.

Here's a topic for you, tell us what you're doing with the green car.. or is it me that should be hanging out on Pelican more to find out. Anyway, kudos for building one of the greatest car-guy parts site extant... probably the biggest car-guy site on the planet.
