Over 500 engine numbers on porschemotorsearch.com

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you a small update. On the site: www.porschemotorsearch.com we have now way over 500 engine numbers to match. I created this site as a small test but it seems to work and grow every month. The only thig is that there is still no match . Some numbers are really close so I hope we get one soon. The numbers are really from all over the world so lets se when we get the first "wedding" if it is a international one or not.

    For you using the site:

I have got many email with questions like: If there would be a number from "that year" someone could contact and so on? I am not really a broker for this engines. I created this just for fun in order to help passionate early Porsche drivers. This is a NON Profit page. I will not be always able to answer these questions. I hope that we can keep the system working like "tinder". You will only know if there is a perfect match. We are not highly skilled it guys, so it is not easy to change things on the website for us. Hope this helps you anyway.

Good luck with your search... I will update when site exceeds 1000 engines.

These kind of experiments are like when everyone has their own "registry". The info invariably gets lost to the world. There are a few established Registry's, get the info there.
