    Yes they can be saved. His odyssey is documented in 18 pages on this site.Follow though his "how to" - think your car is in worse condition?

    Do I see the little ring thingy under the dash that releases the gas lid? Woo-boy that's the real thing. 1964 only.
    Yes, it is the original gas lid release. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

    Big photos add detail which can be good. For the badge I cropped, rotated and enhanced the colors. To make it even better, you could clean the badge a bit to increase the contrast, and then take a closeup. Some details like this or the ring that Bob mentioned need to be documented in detail. You need to get someone, like John Esposito or Freddie Henandez in California, to evaluate the car and give you a good idea what it will take to restore it.
