Car Show in the Parking Lot

The world's full o' cars. Not always a Good Thing. Like, here, in sunny SoCal --- we're absolutely choking on 'em, over-run with 'em . . . frickin' swimming in 'em. The amount of real estate, infrastructure, resources, energy, money + time these stupid things consume --- I just spent 45 min traveling, like, 3 miles!! . . . ridiculous

    And, yet . . . I love cars. Always have. Don't know why. And I admit it . . .

    I am an idiot

I'm guessing that most cars are little more than means-to-an-end --- we pretty-much have to have a car, just get on with our lives. I know I do

So --- given that we're all kinda stuck w/ cars in our lives . . . it's kinda fun to see something special --- that's not black/white/silver, not an SUV/mini-van/pick-up, not Japanese . . .

    . . . sitting out in the parking lot . . .

    Jeff's Bike

OK --- not a car, maybe . . . but it is quite The Show

My Buddy Jeff scored this little OG Triumph, few months back --- offa Craig's List . . . looks pretty original/un-restored/left-alone, to me . . .

Not a 'bike guy' but I think a 'Bonnie' in gold and white should make it a 1964... ?

    Feeling a bit --- exposed, here . . . ya know?

    Imagine a parking lot --- NO - A WORLD . . . . full of Porsches . . .

    . . . instead of pachyderms . . .

That bike must be out of oil as it's not leaking...

    Wuzzat?

    Heard of Tesla . . . .

    . . . but never heard of this . . .

    Model S

I dread most so-called 'future' vehicles. Zero emissions cars always seem to look like something designed by people who really REALLY hate cars

    But this? . . .

    Time for a test-drive

    Starting @ $52k

    Aston Martin . . .

Caught-up w/ these two, a few months back

OG banger Aston . . . heading towards SNA. And this Guy was not shy about using the throttle. Nice hat

When I see cars like this --- super special but still just a car . . . and clearly/lovingly/mercilessly used . . . I just wanna shake hands with/hug the owners. When I think of all the money parked in garages/lock-ups/warehouses --- just in SoCal . . .

Not much of an Aston Guy but seeing this rig in traffic --- especially the small size of it . . . was a bit of a shock. Total spaceship
