I drove one for many years back in the 55 days. Fun at 65, scary at 75. What I love about early 911's... they are fully competent at today's highway speeds, even in Texas!

My first car was a 1964 TR4 (solid axle) . . . and I agree with Mike de Jong about driving it and the comparison with the early 911.

    Corvette Race Car
Was a Drag Car running in Cali back in the 70's in purple livery, owned by a disbarred attorney with the words; "Presumed Innocent" in big white letters. Anyone remember it?

Anyone recognize the very famous driver in this photo?
Hint: He was an American who drove fast in foreign cars.

Many moons ago-the big one's almost out of college Notice the front seat car seat, the other two would ride a top the back window shelf. The journey was only a few blocks. The guy before me used to haul his firewood in it.
