Brass isn't ferris, magnet won't work. But they are way heavier!

I have a 68 and a 69. The 68 definitely has anodized trim just like the 69. The difference is that in 68 you still had opening front quarterlights - so that makes 68 the only year coupes had opening quarterlights that were anodized aluminum.

When restoring my 73 Targa it was way easier to get the brass rechromed as it should be rather than fighting with re anodising

I was thinking of sending my bumper and deco aluminum trim out to King of Trim for re-finishing. Thoughts, suggestions?

My last four, count 'em, four orders with King of Trim were all terrible. The quality has gone way down since the business was sold a couple years back. If I were you, I'd send them to Shaun at Tru6. He's doing excellent work and is a member here.

I’ve experienced the SAME thing as JP.

Shaun does excellent work but contact him first to see how backlogged he is.

I will contact Shaun. The last time I contacted him about some work, he was really busy and the lead time was like 6 months.

Might be even worse now. And his level of professionalism doesn't come cheap. But I'll tell you the same thing I tell my international friends when they inquire about the high cost of American healthcare: BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT. Call Shaun.

Gotta disagree with Tru6 doing great work.....I was beyond disappointed and will leave it at that....I have had very good results with KOT.
