FS: Original Vasek Polak Manhattan Beach Porsche Dealership Money Clip

Original, unused in a box of promotional materials, it is at a minimum 48 years old, from the Manhattan Beach dealership. Closed it measures app 3 x 4”. The flap opposite the dealer information folds back, you could put cards in, at least I think that's the idea.

The telephone exchanges are FRontier and SPruce, for those who remember dialing numbers like that. Not that I ever did:-)

12/29/2014 edit: I still have more of these, most of them the ink has run a bit. Below is about average, I have better and will send the best I have. I took one apart, the plastic puck in the center is fine, the ink has run into the clear plastic over it. There may be a way of cleaning it, it so it's not Isopropyl, that didn't do it.

$40 US delivered, $45 Canada, $50 anywhere else. My email is cs8815 at aol dot com

Editorial note I cannot believe how much the USPS has raised international prices on this last round, more than double in some cases.

I have several of these, I'll edit the post when they are gone. 11/26 edit, still have some.

    Nice money clip!

My first memory of phone #'s was just 4 digits. Then I had the learn the prefix HOmestead 8 when the system was upgraded. Once only long distance required the area code, but now all local calls require it. As I understand it, the first long distance call was made from Brantford, ON to Burford, ON just around the block from where I live.

*USPS has lost 20 billion dollars over the last 2 years. That's astonishing...Talk about mismanaged. They are even subcontracting with FedX
