    FS: 1974 911 Non-Sunroof Coupe

Although I would very much like to keep this car, this car MUST go.

The specs of the car (as best I can remember them) are as follows:

    1974 911 Normal
    Non-sunroof coupe
    Factory Lt. Yellow
    911SC flares
    Fresh, original gearbox
Carbureted 3.0L 911SC engine with early, SSI heater boxes
Carrera front cooler with fan (manual fan switch on dash)
    930 brakes front and rear
Bilstein front struts with HD inserts
    Bilstein rear shocks
New front and rear wheel bearings
Smart Racing rear wheel bearing support plate
SC/Carrera rear control arms w/Carrera rear sway bar
Smart Racing polyurethane bushings (custom machined to a perfect fit)
    Turbo tie rod kit
Elephant Racing adjustable bump steer kit
    Elephant Racing monoball camber plates
Elephant Racing rear control arm monballs (at torsion tube)
Elephant Racing 23mm front and 33mm hollow torsion bars
    New headliner
    New Porsche dashboard
    10K tach
    Factory 915 short shifter
Fuchs 7X15 front and 8X15 rear wheels
    H4 headlights
    Factory fog lights
Front suspension pan replaced 2 years ago by John Esposito
    Fresh door seals
Fresh front and rear windshield seals
    Original CA car
    Intermittent wipers still work
    Carpet is good
    Door panels are good
    Seats are OK
    Autopower half-cage
5-point Crow harness on driver's side
3-point stock belt on passenger's side

Physically the car is a little rough around the edges. I bought the car from a client back in 2010 and didn't really know what to do with it. The chassis was sound with a little bit of rust in the front pan, cowl, A-pillars, and dash, and the paint wasn't bad enough to warrant a repaint but it wasn't good enough to show it on the lawn. I decided to just dump my parts into the car and just drive it; it's been all over the United States (I have pictures to prove it). In 2013 I decided to take the car POC racing where it ran in the front of the GT5 class for the entire season - the goal was to drive it to the track, race all weekend, and then drive it home. The car performed flawlessly. I also used it for daily-driver duties for two or three week stretches during that time.

This season I decided to get serious with the POC and we acquired a purpose-built racecar for the job. I took out the 2.5L engine and the Yellow 74 has been sitting in our storage warehouse ever since.

The car is not physically perfect, but you'll be hard pressed to find a car that is as solid and as capable as this one. I'm selling this car with a carbureted 3.0L engine that was removed from a client's SC after he wadded the car up on Mulholland. The motor runs well, but I cannot say for certain how many miles it has on it. The motor is not yet installed in the car, so the prospective buyer has options:

    1) The car is SOLD.

Thanks for looking ... lots of pictures to follow when I have a chance to dig them up.
