WTT: 11/70 Deep Sixes for 04/69 Deep Sixes

    Hi all,

Trades can be a bit odd because there's no money involved... and I somewhat doubtful anyone will even be interested... but like my grandad used to say, "if you don't try, you'll never know"...

    The Backstory:

I have a pair of deep sixes without hearts - both dated 11/70 - they are both definitely driver condition, and one needs paint more than the other, but they are straight and true and solid candidates for reconditioning. I bought them about a year ago, paid ~$500 each, and thought they would sit on a shelf until needed on one of our project cars. However, I'm now in need of some 7R weld-ups for a '69 Lightweight project and need to match the fronts already on that car, which are deep sixes WITH hearts, dated 04/69.

    The Trade:

So, I have a set of driver-quality deep sixes, without hearts, dated 11/70 and want to trade them for a set of driver-quality deep sixes, WITH hearts, dated anywhere between January and May of 1969.

Your wheels don't have to be beautiful because they are going to go to Harvey anyway, just have to be the correct date range and straight.

Please let me know if you're interested.

    Thanks,

This trade offer is still active. If anyone is building an ST project and has a set of deep sixes with hearts that they want to trade for the correct non-heart style wheels, this is perfect for you. Non-hearts are more rare than deep sixes and I kinda hate to cut them up. I'd rather see them go on the correct MY car and use a more-common set of hearts for my project.

    Contact me soon.

    Thanks y'all!

I have at least one 4/69 in good original condition and maybe another one which has been refurbished already. I will check today and let you know! Siegfried

Ok, I have one 4/69 and one 3/69, BOTH already refurbished. The other 4/69 I have is a 7R. The two 6x15 would be for trade, not for sale. Let me know. I can send pics if interested or will post later! Siegfried
