Thank you. You have an appealing stable yourself; I've always been a big W111 coupe fan.

I haven't narrowed down 1476's build date yet but to be honest I've not put much effort into it since posting.

Yes, indeed the W111 Mercedes coupes from the 220seb to low nose are fantastic cars

Let's see if we can find other owners who might be close to our cars.

I have been looking for the contact info for those door jamb stickers. Do you have it?

    Cheers

I doubt Porsche is going to be very helpful with the date of manufacture....When I ordered my COA, they asked me for a picture of the door jam decal...I sent it to them and asked why did they need that...the lady replied....we needed the date of manufacture.....that gave me this deep down warm and fuzzy feeling about the $100 I spent on that piece of paper....Since I had them on the phone, I went ahead and told them what options were on the car and low and behold other than Pirelli tires, those were the options listed on the COA.

Today I was finally able to obtain the build completion date of 1476 from PCNA. I had to provide proof of ownership to them; I used my registration. 1476 was completed on April 27, 1970. Hence when I get around to ordering one of the replacement door jamb stickers the date will read "04/70."
