    Smell the ozone.........

Went to an all out, personal, old school, slot car track for Thursday 'Car Night' yesterday.

I never got into this addiction however the collection was mostly old school/vintage and amazingly complete....

When he said "Grab a controller", I said 'No, I'm terrible at it... I'll just look at your collection'.......... amazing.......

Wow! That is crazy! Don't know if any of you have seen modern slot cars, they are basically an airfoil that go so fast you pretty much have to control them by sound as they are moving as fast as your eyes, head and hands can function.

Thanks for sharing. I remember the local full-size track that went bust in the late 60's. Relegated to H.O. cars at a friend's house.

My wife isn't thrilled with the parts and tools in the garage, I can't imagine if I tried to take over the basement too.....

I've got a couple of old Strombecker tracks from the mid 1960s (they are older than I am). Haven't "driven" a modern slot car in a long time. Slippery slope to be going down with my kids (5, 7 and 10).
