    Charcoal canister clamp/hose size check

I am trying to find out the correct sizes for the clamp and rubber (cloth wrapped) hose which connect to the charcoal canister and keep coming up empty.

    Help needed please

    Thanks

Should there be clamps on these hoses? Mine are just pushed on to the canister.

I believe so. I puchased one a while back and the seller just cut the hoses off and sent it that way. Attached were the original German oem clamps. I am not 100% sure on this, but this is compelling evidence.

The hose should be 12mm braided. Parts Klassik has it in bulk but its not cheap no matter where it comes from. Also there's a lot in the car both under the hood and in/under the engine compartment. I think it took me 9' just to replace the stuff in the back of the car.

After reviewing Cornpanzer's photos of the original "700 mile" time capsule car, I concur. There were clamps on the hose.
Great! Gives me something else to find!
