    Just for educational purposes, my car is Jan '65 build and has 2 different door plug styles. I've owned my car since '94 and these came with my car when I purchased it. Maybe left over 356C inventory? This isn't to say that Andrea's are not correct for later MY cars.

    The plug with the 2 circles is the 5mm plug (wider grommet ridge) vs. the several circle 3mm wide grommet ridge plug

    If I'm wrong I'm happy to be corrected.

    What about 15 vs 17circles ?
    I know it sounds crazy to ask...but was therefore a cut-off?

    Will check on my 71 when its back from winter storage.
