    Family Cars

    Fascinating . . .

. . . and amazing how these kinds of cars turn up, too

Any details on The Story of this car? . . . how/where it was found, what condition was it in, where's it been, etc. Any photos from the restoration? And was this done by Porsche Classic?

And has anyone contacted Ernst Piech and spoken w/ him? I'd be real interested to hear what he thinks/how he feels about seeing his old car after all these years

I'd be interested in the 'numbers,' too

    Love to see this Kardex

Who owns it? --- do you know?

Dr. K has written me that the tri-colour houndstooth was originally sourced from a local men's tailor shop, and had to be reproduced.

I have a few restoration photos in the ones Georg sent me. I saw it in the final stages last year and was impressed by the nice paintjob.

I'll ask for more insights on the story of the car, usually special cars have interesting stories to tell.
