Over the years i've seen this car at various stages of restoration, now it's finished and is exposed in the Porsche museum for the 50 years celebrations.
It's a 72S coupe' specially made for Ernst Piech, the older of the nephews of Prof Porsche and son of Louise Porsche. Colour to sample (sort of petrol blau met), interior totally in buffalo leather with special houndstooth, including ST racing buckets, colour coded wheels, becker radio.
Special car for VIP "client", looks really gorgeous IMO . . .

    . . . sooooooo --- what happened w/ all the photos?

I did not think of it when this thread was started but I once had a similar 72S. A special factory treatment exec car built for Jack Cook, the president of Porsche/Audi US. It was viper green with a full tan leather interior. It had airport gearing and other special things that really stood out. Jack sold it to his secretary who was involved with Grady Clay. Grady put quite a few miles on it and attested to its provenance along with Jack Cook. RIP to both. I wish I had not sold that one but so it goes.
