Gosh, maybe there is a connection between age/income level and wisdom/discernment after all?

All of my ex twenty-something-year-old employees would debate this (but get their feelings hurt when they lose the argument.)

    Caution!

Do not go down this rabbit hole unless you have an hour to kill.

Ted Bundy had less baggage than this car.

Here is the response from CCSMOTORS, selling dealer.....

"When I first acquired this car several years ago I too came upon these posts. Through several phone calls and a professional inspection I determined the car to be an honest 74 vehicle that had gone through a restoration of an older era. I just requested PCARMARKET to add a VIN stamping (smugglers box) photo to the listing for you to see. While I can appreciate the concern about the posts ( I had the same concerns) but I had live professional opinions taken into consideration. In regards to the engine, I would have no way to determine that there was a different engine in the vehicle at a different time, however, I validated that the current engine is an unaltered Porsche stamping and is correct. I would not have made a large investment in a car like this without due diligence. I hope this helps and would welcome you to view the car in person to take out all speculation."

Ugh. I cringed when I saw this car show up for sale again ... it's like a bad penny.

Too bad every buyer after the restoration has been had...
