    brake upgrades

    why do most kits i have looked at only quote 3.5inch caliper mounting point spacing, i have 2 cars with 3 inch spacing,trying to find a kit is tough, any suggestions, talking front brakes here,also would anyone know where i could obtain an adaptor to mount a 928s rear caliper to a 911 alloy trailing arm ,as a notation to my first comment [front caliper] i am trying to adapt is a 928s front caliper to a 3inch c-centre mount, thanks

    What are you looking for in an "upgrade"? The stock calipers are plenty powerful enough to lock your tires, so you won't reduce stopping distances. If they are fading then try to duct cooling air to them first. If you just want something lighter you can get the Brembo upgrade from Eric Shea at PMB Performance. They are bolt-on for 3" struts, no mods necessary. www.pmbperformance.com
