    Magnus 911 S/TR sells for 275.000 dollar

It's also in the Gooding auction postings, but this is an unbelievable high amount for a '72 911 car. I wonder what the 275.000 dollar sale for Magnus' cars tells us

    a. Magnus is king of marketing
    b. Early 911's are only at the beginning of a price boom
    c. Magnus builds fantastic cars
    d. All three
    e. Something else....

911's you (pick the model) are increasing in value and demand. I think we should all be happy they are. Magnus has done a beautiful job on building, promoting and selling his car. Good for him! As long as seller and buyer are happy....all is good.

Cars are NOT going up in value.

    The dollar is going down.

It is all an illusion and we usually fall for it... What I mean is that the DOW is at 15.000 and it was at half that price 4 years ago. So, how much money has the federal gov printed in this time? No wonder all hard assets are going up, including houses and cars. So I think this is a big part of what is happening.

Reminds me of the Hiro Yamagata Mercedes 220 convertibles.
    They bought the artist.

The currency wars that are underway - and accelerating - are going to create a lot of odd pricing of hard assets. Unprecedented actually.

a and e. I would also like to know why people consider this a car magnus built. I would be interested to know how much work he actually did on the car himself? Can't deny its his concept though.

I dont necessarily get down with the hard asset buy as an investment on this one. Whoever bought this car wanted magnuses car. I can't imagine this one was bought as an investment for a hedge against currency failure or inflation.

I wasn't being literal. Just believe that macro economic forces affect culture and behavior. This is just symbolic.
