here is a color photo of LB-U 911. I know it is hard to tell from an old photo but does anyone know what green / blue it is? Almost certainly a 356 color (or a special factory mix) - is it radium (maybe a bit dark for that) or Auratium green?? (again maybe a bit dark?)

It certainly does not look "blue" ( dark blue (emailblue 6403)), as Kamin has posted from the Achiele book unless the photo is really off

13326 had the Quickname "Quickblau", which certainly came from a blue color.
It was shown at the London show (Oct 1963), Sweden show, Berlin show as well as Geneva Auto Salon (March 1964).

Here is 901 13326 exhibitioned at Geneva Auto Salon in 1964, along 356's and the 904:

that photo looks a perfect match for Emailblau

do you think it is possible that it was repainted after being a show car? Wasn't this car hot rodded with a 4 cam 2 litre Carrera engine at some stage of "factory" ownership?

Hugh, your suggestion of a respray after being emailblue is quite possible, on the colorfoto it looks like some bluegreen.
    (About "hot rodded" 901, no records of 13326. 13324, plates S-04326/S-SK726 had in 1965 received a 2.2litre (!) 911S engine, 300 001 a Carrera Fuhrmann engine)

About 13326, I dont know more than the factory infos provided by Aichele:
13326 was built between August and September 1963. It first had a mock up engine (London show Oct 63) and only for the Geneva show (March 64), it received a running 901 engine (No.9). It later received another engine (No.154) and was used for tire test at the German Hockheimring from Sept 29th - Oct 1st 1964. Ferdinand Piech owned it from September 1965 (i.e about a year later) until selling it to Hans Mezger in December 1965. On December 1967, it was recorded having 63381km.

Here is another shot of 13326 at Geneva, March 1964.

    901 owned by Ferry Porsche.
    901/3, Chassis 300 003, plate S-UN 100, delivered to FP in Fall 1964.
Could be darkgreen color, but no records so far.

Note of Helmut Bott about a testdrive of "Wagen von Herrn Porsche", Sept 18th 1964.
