On the ground. Roll bar gives it a sporty look.

With a 2.8 MFI engine and short gears it should be snappy!

Installed a complete NEW wiring harness from Kroon wiring harnesses. It's really nice to have brand new wires running through out this restored tub. Now it has great bones and a spine. Gerard is very easy to work with and helpful.

    Scott:

Just picked up a 914-4 that I'm restoring, and have inquired with Kroon for a replacement wiring harness.
Any thoughts on the quality, labeling, connectors, etc with your Kroon harness.
Mine won't be cheap (more than yours I think) as they're telling me the 914 harness is very complex and the connectors are
very expensive and tough to source.

    Your car(s) are looking great!

ps My 914 is light ivory and will sport a set of Bob's Porsche stripes as well (likely in a dark silver or gray color).

Doug, Kroon does great work. I don't know anyone else doing what they do.

The Kroon harness looks pretty darn cool. For what they do and where they do it, their prices are reasonable (if not cheap).

Old wiring and connectors apparently can have mysterious metallurgical changes affecting conductivity and resistance -- as I found out in your old '88. I had some starting/battery drain problems that were completely solved by replacing the ends of the main cable from the battery to the starter -- my technical adviser has made several of these replacements and they all seem to magically fix the electrical problems. Having new wiring, fuse box, and connectors is going to make a world of difference.

This ivory car is just going to be incredible. Hope to see it at R-R V.
