    WTB: Celette Bench

    Hey all,

I'm looking for a Celette bench for the shop. Our budget is around $8k-$10k but can spend more if the right unit becomes available. If anyone has a lead on a used (but not abused) bench, with or without Porsche fixtures, please let me know.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Yeah, we saw that one, and it does have all the right stuff, minus the Porsche fixtures, but it is beyond what we're hoping to spend. I really appreciate your input though, thanks

Translated means "Celette bench, with new still in the box porsche elements for 911 from 65 to 89 plus 930 turbo options. Dreamers and non serious, please pass you way"

This one seems complete, but without the porsche elements... 10 times cheaper almost.

You will find a lot of this stuff here in France, as Celette was a french brand. Add to this that now it is often cheaper to throw and accidented car away than put it on a bench/jib, and you have a lot of this stuff being sold by the smallest shops, for a fraction of the original cost...

if interested, I can make the first contact, but won't be able to make more as it is located about 400km from where I live.

i dont know the situation in the states but here in (western)europe you can find them for really low $$$. since the body shops have no use for them anymore.
i payed 300.- for a complete muf 5 including the dozer etc.etc....the mz towers i got for 600.-
the more costy thing was the 911 fixtures---have now two complete celettes.. the 2nd Porsche fixies i built myself.

buying in Germany + shipping to the us is maybe a Option...

    Why not make your own?

I read a fascinating tale on Pelican years ago about an ordinary guy in an ordinary house in an ordinary garage who built his own jig and fixtures from a set of factory drawings and measurements for his early 911 targa. Worked a treat.

Anyone on here remember that story. I've lost the link now.

Yes, that is perfectly fine, although I have no idea where to look in Europe, other than these forums. If you have any recommendations on where to look, I'd great grateful
