    Hi Peter, not a dumb question at all. These are obviously 'reproductions' and in no way am I trying to pass these parts off as originals. The signatures are 'optional', only for those that would rather take delivery of the parts that way. It is only a bit of a dissappointment to note that the first post on this thread is about questioning a "reproduction signature" on a 'reproduction' part. I was hoping to see at least one post complimenting the product.

    Just saw this thread and was scrolling through the pics. Very nice looking parts. Impressively executed and nice looking project components. (There. There's your sincerely intended compliment ). Unfortunately, my 914-6 doesn't justify such parts.

    I am going to try to justify these for my 914/6 race car project. I'll let you know how the justification process pans out...
