Perhaps you should try contacting Jürgen Barth, then?
One of his books has just been translated . . .
http://www.total911.com/the-porsche-...es-and-models/
He's been involved w/ documenting/authenticating numerous cars --- usually competition types. Perhaps he has some insights/kontakts to offer/share
Actually we have been down that road and Mr Barth supplied us the kardex and he stood by the info provided by it(that it was a 911s std trim)
we could not believed it and mr landenberger found the proof of it s lightweight origin

hello
this is the way Porsche went to homologate the 911s at 930kg ,by offering the car absolutely stripped on paper and then adding m470 on most they were ok with FIA
but they had to be able to show them some of those cars,we can see some in various official photo but this it .Archives confirmed 41 car to the 930kg,according to
historian most for road race and rallye and 6 to 8 street narrow body lightweight with various options.Ours was delivered in silver with tinted window, limited slip
electric antenna, recaro seat and 62 l tank .on top of all special features; no under coating,no heater tube,no ashtray ,no glove box door,no right sunvisor,no conduit for trunk and
engine lid,no seat track, it came with rollbar and race belts mounting, foot rest, welded cap on heater tube outlet ,welded rear shock tower ,gas heater.
so yes it is a very exciting car ,one of the rarest 911 . I am searching the early history of it .according to various sources factory might have keep it close as a spare, executives
use but we will find its history eventually .stay tuned
A few bad pictures of the car of it s curent state
A suivre

Looks to be quite a restoration. Any details about the engine?
And have you found out more about its history?
And can you tell more about how you found it --- and why you chose this one?
Amazing car! --- thank you for sharing . . .
