    77 rs

    I realize this is the the exactly correct forum, but thought you guys might know the answers. Is there such car as a 1977 Euro 911 RS? If so how would it have been configured, motored and transmission. The car I am looking at has turbo fenders and Carrera Whale tail. Thanks and if his is in the wrong spot I apologize.

    I think they were still making 3.0 liter RS's then. Basically like a longhood RSR with an IROC nose. The 3.0 liter RSR was even more wild.

    No such thing.

    The 3.0 RS was only made for the '74 model year.

    The '76 2.7 mfi Euro Carrera model was homologated as an RS - if it's one of these rare cars (only 113 built) the VIN will be in the sequence:

    911 660 9XXX
