    I know what restoration word means

    I'm a new old stock parts addicted, so for me something restored means returned to a new condition.

    I sent to you my webers 40 from a 68S with my 911R magnesium manifold
    And you restored them for me with so many mods and improvements that it's impossible to remember them by mind

    I think that the before-after photos are better than 1000 words

    I think we should start a thread "Before and After". The work that can be achieved on Porsche parts is amazing...and really shows the original quality of these early cars....

    Job description:

    1 Level 3 remanufacturing restored as period correct for 1968 model year
    1 Restoration of 911R intake manifolds (46mm x 38mm port sizes) flanges fly cut and finished with black magnesium chromate

    1 44mm throttle bore modification
    1 idle air bleed modification
    1 plug high speed enrichment fuel galleries
    1 anti percolation holes (race application location)
    1 "Performance Profile" machine work
    2 OEM, 911R style throttle lever arms
    1 set PMO main venturis; 36mm
    1 set PMO main jets; 155
    1 set PMO air corrector jets; 170
    1 set PMO idle jets; 60
    7 8mm ball sockets
    1 heat insulators: PMO insulator kit with long studs
    1 set of E-tube air screens with screws
    1 relieve mains and install baffle plates
    6 56mm tall air horns; restored
    1 plastic air horn - replace customer's damaged original
    4 mill out seized stud in throttle body.- seized during disassembly
    1 bearings for bell crank
    1 send fuel line for crimped on Cohline ferrules
    4. 911R racing screens for emulsion tube wells
    6. Installation of Nos 906 tall aux venturis with end flanges bluprinted

    They 'll go on a 2.5 short stroke engine, with extensive mods and upgrades.
