Thread: Recaro seat ID help please.

    Recaro seat ID help please.

can anyone tell me what recaro seat this is? fabric is original, except the headrest obviously. closest I've come up with is the Ideal S in fabric, instead of vinyl. the LS series is close. but on mine the back pad runs right to the headrest. on the LS there's a cross bolster that joins the two side bolsters. any thoughts? thanks, Don.

I've only found hinges for one seat, both tie bars, and the four bottom hinge support bars. I do remember they were missing some hinge parts. the hinge is identical to the ones in these pics. after looking at the bottoms I can see they're recovered. at this point I'm thinking recovered Ideal S seats.

These Recaro's were modular in that they made 3 seat backs versions and 4 seat bottoms so they could be mixed and matched. Those look like an LSA with a different head rest as mentioned. Actually after looking again at the deeper seat bolster perhaps an LSD.
