For Europe, we could do this in Germany, There is a cool town where cool cars are built called Stuttgart near Zuffenhausen. I beleive there is a small factory that could be visited and an egocentric museum too.

Then Nurburgring or Spa Francorchamps for a track event.

Earlier this month, I drove my 964 down to Santa Fe, NM for the 356 Registry event. I was not part of the group so I don't have many details but here's what I gathered from talking to many people at the event. It was 5 days long, there were drives, tech sessions, dinners, on your own evenings and so on. There were nearly 225 cars on display for the public Saturday morning for 4 hours on the Square. It was very heavily attended I can say for sure. They estimated that about two thirds of the owners drove to the event. I saw license plates from NY, CA,OR, NM, CO, British Columbia Iowa, Ohio and many other states.

The Registry moves the event around so next year it's in Portland, Oregon. I did see a few guys walk by in Early911 t-shirts. I kept wondering why don't we have something like this? Sure looked like a lot of fun to me.

I'm interested. But not likely to attend if it is more than 500 miles away since there are so many events right in my backyard.

    Lightbulb

We are indeed trying to put a BIG S Registry meet together soon....either for Rennsport or ????

The club will find some anniversary date within the next year or so to celebrate .......

WOW - it's been over 12 years since Las Vegas ...

BTW - I included Vern Lyle's car on the Vegas T-Shirt design...

Vern Lyle and Betsi Marsh officially started our club in West Ponit PA. in Nov. 1990.......
The West Coast group took over the club from a grateful Vern and Betsi in Oct. of 1995......

More info to come on the event .........
