Only Gytis would buy a trashed car that just happens to have an aluminum deck lid and torque thrust wheels. Wonder what other sorts of rare parts do you think he can find hidden on this car?

Gytis, nice find. Looks like a good car.
Mike is right about the wheels. These are the fairly common aluminum 7" TT's. What was on the front of your car in the old photo was a pair of 6" magnesium TT's. Much harder to find, but they are still out there.

I would be interested in 2 of the 7 TTD wheels as I plan on a SWB car with 7 on the back and 6's of the TTD wheels on the front. The famous #20 911L racer had this set up. chris

Chris, the #20 car had mag 7" wheels on the back with a much more agreeable offset. If you try to run a 7" aluminum wheel on a swb, you will either have to run a very small tire or a very tall ride height.

Thanks for the tip, David... nothing is easy is it. So you are saying I must find 6' and 7's in Mag from way back in the 1960's? Thats a tall order plus these wheels being 40 + years old can be a problem from age right? I will keep looking and I wish someone would reissue these. Chris
