Not sure which year or which trim level you have. I have a '71T with S trim so I had the larger rocker deco strips. For those I just unscrewed all the small Phillips head screws and they just popped right off. Make sure you also get the screws holding the end caps on as well since those secure the ends of the decos at the wheel wells. It's pretty straight forward and shouldn't be a big issue as long as there isn't alot of corrosion on or around the retaining screws. For the smaller deco trim I'm not sure about.

First of all, not all Rocker decos were created equal. No matter what year and model you have, though, you will need to peel the rubber out of the aluminum to access the screws that attach it to the car.

I would like to reuse the rubber insert as it is an early S piece. Is it glued in? Would a heat gun help in getting it off? Any other techniques/suggestions?
    Thanks
