    68 911s - assessing value

Hello everyone. I'm trying to assess a value for this 68 I recently acquired. Although I'm located in Toronto, an approximate US or EU value would be most beneficial to set a baseline. Here's what we know:

    1. Vin # designates the S model. Canada & RoW received the 1968 "S" while USA received "L"
    2. The Engine is an S (901/02)
    3. Trans is stamped 901/03
    4. Left Lower Rocker Cover: 901.105.111.0R
    5. Right Lower Rocker Cover: 901.105.111.0R
    6. Ducktail - non OEM
    7. Momo Steering Wheel - also non OEM
    8. Floor pans are clean
    9. Zenith 40mm ITN Carbs - Confirmed these are OEM
    10. Tan interior, No Headrests
    11. Crappy Respray
    12. Fuchs - Look to be 4.5 inches, I could be wrong
    13. COA has been ordered

I've posted photos in other threads. Can repost if it helps. Yes, my profession is a car dealer (it's in my bio). I'm happy to help club members with any car related questions you may have, plus I have access to Porsche factory manuals. I'm here to learn about the marque and in return help the E9R community.

The engine may be an 'S' but the Zenith carbs are 'T' equipment. 'S' would have had Webers.

Hagerty is your friend. Given the various issues with this car I'm going to call it a #4. That means just under $100,000.
