    Talking Sugar Baby.

Well, after having started to work on a SC and having sold it before the end of the work, having sought anoter SC without joy, and still having in mind my 1968 project.....I had yesterday a crush for a 2.7 1975 (1976 model) light ivory. It is a very nice car to drive.
I know this is not an early, but everything smells good old time in the cockpit.
I have very little background of it, few invoices and having been with the previous owner for 4 years. No more information.
It has been repainted 3 times already, and there is no visible repairs. The interior is mostly original, 2 switches has been added, the seats are Turbo ones and the sterring wheels is now a new Momo Prototipo.
Full chrome triming, opening quarter windows, deep fuchs (r) 6x15.
    Manual window mecanism.
The driver external mirror have been replaced by a chrome 1973.
There are few dings and dents, and very few rust points which can be easily fixed.
The engine is not the original 2.7 (not a big thing) and is replaced by a SC 3.0L 180cv associated with a 915 gearbox coming along with the engine. It runs and revs great, as well as the clutch and gears. However a complete rebuilt will be done to improve the horsepower and revs.

The "tricky" part is the suspension/steering/breaks which need to be fully replaced/rebuilt. Not a big thing, but it takes quite a time to make it properly.

The aim is not to make a concourse car (some will say : it is a 2.7, do not spend your money of that uggly thing) but a very nice club sport car as I like to make.

I have always liked the narrow body g series, as this is a transition car between 2 periods of the 911, not a early, not a wide body. I like the full chrome triming, the old dashboard, the opening quarter windows, etc...

I will drive it back home (550kms) oct. 2nd.

    Stay tuned, if you subcribe.
    Xavier
