    Is 1967/1968 911 & 912 Front Hoods Identical?

    My front trunk hood is severely rusted out. Have found a 1968 one from a 912 in very good shape. Are they identical?

    Yes, other than the possibility of the 912 hood having only one trunk light, not 100% sure,,,,

    Not sure if it happened in 68, but at some point (for LWB cars?) rectangular slots appeared in the underside front of the hood, one on each side -- visible when hood is raised. Not sure of the purpose. Maybe somewhere for the air to go when closing the hood?
