    With the comfort seats the cushion ribs run top to bottom. With the sport seats the ribs run left to right. It looks like in both seats the tan strip runs top to bottom. Do I have this right?

    its definitely a sport seat insert with the foam attached.

    The tan strip runs in sports and in comfort seat covers some direction the cushion rib does. Same for corduroy ribs.

    Dirk,

    you say that the tan stripe of pepita and the ribs of the corduroy are always in one direction ( vertical ) for comfort seats as well as for sports seats ?
