    John, the last dash I put in with the bolt in speaker cover I modified to allow for top removal, it can be done.

    This is a very debated subject. I have been told there is only one maker of dashes and everyone feeds off of that mainline. I don't believe that. There have been many attempts to duplicate the original dash of 69-73 and nobody has nailed it. As far as the 2 vendors you mentioned, it depends what they have for stock at the time you order.
