Very hard to read the registration plate. But can probably be BB ( Ḅblingen), near Stuttgart. By the way my 911 CS Targa was also registered in Ḅblingen when I bought it.

I already know the VIN of this car and the registration starts with "BB-PW" because this car was owned by Porsche Weissach at the time.
So, you own the 911 3.2 CS Targa, very interesting
You must be in touch with a friend of mine who owns a 964 Turbo S Leichtbau...
And the Bell car next week at Bonhams, what you think? It will sell?
911 S 1967 and ...
€253,000 yc fees.
Not so bad
In fact, I'm a little sad because I think that these nice cars will not be used anymore as intended. And I'm glad that I have had the pleasure to really drive my former CS around 50,000 km, in various conditions!
What I mean ks that I had the sister car, but OK ;-)

Well, here is the car that I have just bought, a 1988 928 S4 Club-Sport. This is the 5th of the 12 1988 MY. I have previously owned the 2nd of the 7 1989 MY.
This is a real challenge at the moment because it needs a lot of deffered maintenance but, except the engine, all the important 928 CS parts are there, or I already have them as spare.

I will have the car at home soon and will spend some time to find its previous history and its original configuration. Then, I will define how I will work on it.
It will never be a real collector gem (condition, non original engine and more than 210 000 km), but it will be a car that I can use without worrying. That is the most important to me. I really love these rare 928.
Now, the funny part. I have found it on a ridiculous add on the net and was the only person to know that this is a 928 CS. Even the owner during 17 years wasn't aware of that.
So, I have bought it without seeing it, and paid the price of a tired manual S4 in Germany.

A quick update of a slowly evolving car...

It looks better with the right rims, steering wheel, black carpet, period factory carpet protections and unpainted rear spoiler.
All the accessoiries are in (tools, first aid kit, luggage cover...) and it was quite difficult to find them all.
Next step will be to repaint it in the right black instead of the ugly Audi blue.
And remove the non-factory, and so on...
