Thread: Seats won't slide?

    Seats won't slide?

Before pulling my cars original comfort seats for restoration...both slid fore and aft...with some effort. The guys at Autobahn did a complete refurbishing of both seats and shipped them to my local shop for reinstalling.

This past weekend I was feeling nimble enough to climb into the rear seat area to do a thorough cleaning of the inside of the rear glass. However, much to my dismay, I found that I'm now unable to slide either of the seats. They both appear to be locked in the aft most position.

Wondering what the issue is and how to correct?
    Cheers!

did they take off the rails riveted on the seat pan? re mounted them in the correct way?
the release lever does work..meaning the catch ?
have you taken off the rails+ the black brackets for the rails? that are bolted on the car?if yes untighten the bolts and try again.find the right position an tighten them.
and a bit of grease also helps..not to much

can not be a big issue ...
