The Kugelfischer injection pump is almost identical to the Porsche unit.

That's the one! It should have "Italvolanti" on the back of the bottom spoke.

    . . . a period Motorsports CSL steering wheel . . .
    Close

As I recall, the wheel that I fitted had the same thumb pads for the horns . . . but it came w/ this big/thick/black/molded plastic pad that fit over the three spokes. That grey Motorsports badge sat in a shallow depression in the middle. Super-thick rim, too --- + small dia . . . <14"?

Never saw the back of it. Sold that wheel w/ the car . . .

    . . . but I still have the nasty/stock 320i wheel

    Wait --- it got worse . . .

    Group 5 cars had DOHC = ~470 HP --- 3.5 liter

    . . . then BMW turbo-charged the thing = 750 HP --- 3.2 liter?

    . . . then they started putting 'industrial solvents' --- uh . . . OK --- rocket fuel . . . into F1 cars, then turbo-charging those . . .

    . . . 1.5 liter + 4 cyl = 1400 HP

Just don't get any of the fuel on ya

Hey! --- I think your gas just ate my arm

    You're pretty lucky, I can't bend my arms in a size 50 - damn 70's.
It's a pretty rare piece as it wasn't sold to the public - just team members and valued others had them.
    Here is my keyfob

And a sweet Apfelbeck Head (NM) but even with it's complexity it didn't bring too much power

A Friend found a pair of the probably rarest Scheel 101s
101s in Alpina livery - the passenger is in better shape.
Thank god only the vinyl is torn.
