    Thanks, It seems that the majority of the black painted suspension parts are more semi gloss than gloss.

    How about the finish on the 4 parts in the photo below? #3 are bushing end caps for the rear suspension.

    #1 should be semi-gloss black and #4.

    don`t know what metal treatment was used on #3 but definitely not painted

    Not painted or plated, but looks 10x's better if you plate. Why you would stick a piece of metal on very expensive restoration and not passivate is...?
