You are a very lucky man indeed. Get the COA and all will be revealed. Original messko with the car, sitting in snow? Who finds that anymore?

Slightly off-topic, received a call about a derelict 914/6. If there is a member that has one or is familiar, could they kindly pm me.

Great find, is it not cool to ask what you paid for it?

Yep, as Peanut says, you guys didn't get the 68S... So the production volume was very low as Porsche recognised their main market was out for the year. So the rest of us in the world with 68S cars benefit from the relative rarity... The US market 68L replaced the S for that year and was essentially the S in every respect, except the S engine. The L engine was "detuned" to meet US emissions.

Well, we know it runs. Changed out the old oil (surprisingly it was clean as a whistle), filter etc. And she started right up. Now just trying to figure out what's up with the brakes as there doesn't appear to be any leak. Bled the system & some air expelled from the rears. Topped off the reservoir, left it overnight, came back in the morning with no change in fluid level. Could the system have been bled to prevent the car from being moved? I've attached the startup video:
I looked underneath. The floors are in great shape. Definitely owned by an enthusiast as there's braided lines everywhere. I snapped some pics of the inner rear fenders. How does one tell if these have been rolled or flares added? Granted the car was Tangerine to start, looks to be a very professionally done color change. Not a hack job at all in comparison to some others I've seen recently. Trans case shows part # 901.301.101.0R Could I get an english translation for this? Also, the case is stamped 901/02 where the Coupe has a 901/03 (COA Verified). What's the difference? Pic's to follow
