    2.7 l Porsche 911 - "Porposing"

Am not sure how to describe my problem. Engine runs OK. When the car is in gear I need to keep pushing the revs up or the car seems to "porpose" . Could this be a clutch problem, pressure plate?, engine mounts. The clutch does not appear to be slipping. Have tried on hills etc.

Have to keep down shifting or keep the revs above 3000 or the "effect" seems to happen.
    Thanx

Do you mean that the engine does not want to hold a constant rpm? That sounds like a fuel/air mixture problem with the injection system trying to compensate. I don't really understand what you mean. Could you upload a video to youtube showing the problem?

    Flieger:
When I take my foot off the pedal the car seems to "shudder" and I can feel a kind of bumping through the gas pedal into my foot. There is no real noise .It also happens if I slowly accelerate- the pedal gives me a shuddering feeling as it increases the revs. This does not happen if I accelerate rapidly.
If I push in the clutch, the car runs fine, idles fine etc..
Could this be a pressure plate/clutch problem?

Have you checked to see if something is rubbing on the throttle or clutch cables?
