IMO, matters of color are best solved by our site's own, very well laid out color thread.

So its a gold colour car. Whay not say it was gold, they are very transperant, and i have bought from them, but whay not say, had a colour change.
Repray to my understanding is repaint, and usually in the same colour.
May be i am not understanding it correctly.

    72Targa thanks for the info.

    72Targa thanks for the info.
They did say "The car is cosmetically attractive, having been resprayed in Signal Orange at some point in the past."
Maybe that isn't clear enough. Shame on them!
Sounds like a call should be made to the Better Business Bureau.

    Regards

    It's all semantics.

"Resprayed" does imply original color in my mind.

"The car is currently Signal Orange, but was originally Gold Metallic" leaves no doubt.

Doubt was left intentionally. It's a seller's market.

Buyers do your homework, which is what this thread is.

It's not whining, policing or whatever people want to call it in pejorative terms.

I see a couple of assumptions.

    1. That there was an intent to mislead
    2. That respray means repainting in the same color.

    Here is the wiki definition
    "Verb

respray (third-person singular simple present resprays, present participle respraying, simple past and past participle resprayed)

    (transitive, intransitive) To spray again.

My car's got a big scratch down one side — I'll have to get it resprayed.

    Noun

    respray (plural resprays)

    An act of respraying.

I bought a second-hand car but I don't like the colour, so I'm taking it in for a respray.

As to #1. I doubt it.

All of my arguing is moot because I am, currently wearing a sweatshirt with the Fantasy Junction Logo on it that was given to me by them.

Ha! That one is even more egregious:
"The original Signal Orange paint has been previously resprayed..."

Neither of these ads can bring themselves to say it. COLOR CHANGE
