What do you think of this colour combo?

Viper Green exterior and cinnamon interior. I have not seen this combo in any Porsche.

I like it, but then again I am somewhat biased. Not the exact color combo as mine is lime green with a cork interior, but still gives a general idea.

With your car I would agree. In my past I owned Forest Green Explorer with a tan interior was great. I just not sure about Viper Green with Cinnamon. You know cinnamon is a chocolate like colour, so I don't know how or if they would mesh.

Oh didn't realize cinnamon in the early long hoods was a different shade than for the 74's, which is more of a tan/saddle shade of color.

To the OP Cinnamon will look great, just make sure you find the true color, many of the so called Cinnamon dyes I have seen are way darker/wrong shade vs. original.

Porsche did not offer “Cork” in 1974, the color in the Lime Green 1974 shown above if original would in fact be “Cinnamon”. Cork is slightly “orangier” than Cinnamon. As an example here is my 1974 with 100% original Cinnamon interior:

Wow, very nice. Interesting it looks lighter than the sample cinnamon I posted. In 76 the only black trim was the arm rest and window crank. My dash is covered and I will have to take it off to inspect it when I get back into town. It must have cost you a pretty penny. Carpet looks great as well. I will have to change out my carpet which were a really light weight type but was very durable, to keep the entire weight of the vehicle the same as the 73 RS.
Again very, very nice, just can't get over the difference in the cinnamon. Do you think that sample cinnamon was painted a different shade of cinnn?
OBTW vinyl is painted and not dyed. Do you have personal experience?

The photos I posted above are from my car where 100% of the interior is original, so you can't get a better example of what the shade should be. I also have two other cars with all original interiors in Cinnamon including a 1976, you are welcome to come see them in person since you are also in the NW. Your sample looks much too dark. I also PM'd you on Pelican that I have a NOS still in the wrapper parcel shelf in Cinnamon, you should get that and use that as a guide as to the color. Here is the 1976 that I have, also a 100% original interior, this should be your interior almost exactly:

The earlier cinnamon is NLA to my knowledge. It is a two one with a tan background with reddish/brownish swirls. It looks like a stick of cinnamon. I owned a '72S factory executive car that was Viper Green/Cinnamon. And my 73S is aubergine/cinnamon. It seems particularly susceptible to fading so only NOS or hidden areas will show the true color. For the early stuff that is. My car(s) look darker than the cars above but that could be the lighting. I have some NOS plus my 73 has stood the test of time so I'm certain of the 72/3 stuff. I think some trimmer in Italy has NOS or has been able to duplicate the two toned original but I haven't been able to track the trim shop.
