    Which Sway bars?

I was looking to improve handling on my 72 T, which came without sway bars. I have turbo tie rods and Bilstein HDs installed, but otherwise stock. I'd like to know which sway bars can I install on the car...any help is much appreciated...thanks.

Jason, right now, I have no preference. I'm in an information gathering stage. What's available that would fit the 72?

Lots of choices. Certainly picking up some factory bars from this forum or ebay is one possibility...and probably the best choice for originality. In the aftermarket you'll have Weltmeister, Tarett and a couple more. The aftermarket bars will give you adjustability if that's something you're interested in. Tarett now has a RSR replica bar that's pretty cool, although it is on the high end of the price spectrum:

I need to pull the tbars and sway bars on my car and see whats up. It has updated sc stuff int he rear, and some sort of sway bars. I'm curious as to if the tbars are stock or not. someones been in there doing something....I'd really like to get this thing handling as well as possible. Bigger sway bars never hurt.

edit: correction, they can often hurt, but it cant hurt to look into it :P

Remember that adding a sway bar to the rear of your car is not a simple or inexpensive exercize
