I eventually sold the other 65 for well over 200K and it now resides in Portugal , that leaves me with this 65 , two 65 race cars including the Pickett/Gregg car and a Bali Blue 65 .
I nixed the rocker stripes ( 1968 era) and restuffed the seats , rebuilt the solexes , etc should be done soon
and dont forget the original glycerin bottle in glove box! i seen it

Nice ride Jerry. Although I still like the VW you had in high school the best. Gil

    Hey Jerry,
I'd like to thank you again for your support of vintage racing. You do a great BBQ.

We need to have an event at your old/new shop before the Mitty? The Mitty weekend requires a serious dedication to how the car is running.

An event before the Mitty would be more informal so that SE/GA guys can socialize without racing obligations?

I can take pictures and write an article for John D for the Esses.

    Are you in?

We'll still kick their butt at The Mitty.

Special car and you are definitely having a good time with others to keep it company. Nice way to ease into retirement!
