Help with 1967 Paint Code 97-3002

Need some help with this paint code 3002. Checked all the usual references with no luck.
    Thank you,

That is a new one for me. Possibly the Kardex may say something. Is there any evidence of the original color? Another one for me to work on.

I was thinking it was a custom non-standard color. Hopefully we will see the original paint when we pull the dash in the next few weeks.

Yes, you may be lucky to find some original color there. Maybe even luckier if they wrote the paint name on the right side of the dash. Also look under lid brackets, latches, and even the paint badge. Some have found original color in the front lid under the compartment light.

hmmmm ..i know that RAL it is not a porsche code maybe it is RAL3002 that would be kaminrot... used very often on european fire brigade cars.

off topic:the leather interior colours on G-models are very often RAL colours..even if porsche calls it differently.

Carmine Red RAL3002, good call. We've seen RAL on another Porche , 2002 Tangerine.
The red you see around the tag match's the paint under the dash and the vin is still hand written across it.
