    Racers' Cars

From reading some of the assorted histories + details of cars discussed on our site, it seems that there were more than a few Street cars that were owned by Race Car Drivers. Makes sense --- Porsches are sports cars, after all. But more than that --- it seems to have been Porsche's practice to provide their cars to their drivers --- either as a perk or . . . as partial compensation for their services. And so --- given the number of drivers who raced for Porsche . . . it seems like there should be a similar number of their cars Out There

So. This is a thread to list the cars that are/were owned by those Racers --- either originally or subsequently . . . that've showed-up. Kinda like the Family Cars thread . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ht=family+cars

    . . . just a different kinda 'family'

These are all cars that were regular/civilian-issue/street vehicles First --- though they may've been used in races, rallyes, etc. at some point later on . . .

He sold these at a huge premium, usually above 100%. The last car I saw was a metallic bottle green coupe . . .

Porsche 928 CS Prototype, ex Hans Joachim Stuck

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ighlight=stuck

Porsche built 4 similar Porsche 928 S4 Clubsport pre-series prototype for the works drivers Stuck, Bell, Mass and Wollek.

The car was in Le Mans 1988 when Stuck and Bell drove the 962C on 2. place.

Stuck used the car as his privat car for many years.

The Bell car is in Belgium and in fantastic condition also.

The 928 was 120 kg lighter and has many different parts to the stock Version. Also many "Entfallteile".
