Another disappointment. Nice German material, correct small hole pattern, wrong color. I conclude that the current crop of "Ivory" color is not correct for '66-'67 ('68?), that they need a 'white' or 'off-white' color. This is quite 'tan' or 'beige' alongside my old original. (Yes, I realize the old one has faded, etc, but the places unseen by the elements are very different color). I'll keep looking...

Any updates to finding correct headliner material/color? I have an actual headliner from Autobahn (received several years ago), but color and pattern are wrong. I just received a material sample from Autos, and that too is wrong (tan in color -- not ivory -- , matches Autobahn). I have a correct color/material headliner from now defunct Perfect Fit Interiors, but spacing/alignment for bows is wrong (one section too narrow). Any updates on obtaining accurate headliner appreciated.

    Thanks!

Did material match the original? Who sewed it together and did the pattern match original?

Got a headliner from these guys: NOSGRUPPE located in Italy. E-mail to "andrea70@nosgruppe.com" or search "andrea70" on this site. My car is a '69S. I will try and post a pic tomorrow, though it is not installed yet.

Hopefully we can revive this thread. I have done some research and determined that the light grey color headliner appears to be correct for model years '65-'69 at least. As I have a '67 and '69 both with original still intact and the color is light grey. The '69 was built in November '68 so I do not know if that makes a difference. The light ivory thats being sold by Autos Int'l and Autobahn Int. appear to be not correct for these cars. I also understand the Stoddard's is not correct either. Bob67S pointed out earlier in this thread that #34 from GAAH is the closet thing out there to the light grey original. It does however have a slight graining but the perforations and pattern seem to be spot on. Is there a better source for this material out there? Any comments or help greatly appreciated as I am sure lots of us want to get it right or as close to right as possible.

I have been doing weeks of headliner research, for a 1971, i bought one. but did not match the diamond pattern. but identical the hole size, in ivory color and thickness and feel. it may be the best I can find. (that one came from an interior guy, name classicautotrim in arizona or nevada)
I am asking a company named Lakewell in Belgium for a free sample...
they just may have several samples, for several years.
(after just seeing there site, they seem to have two colors, and a square pattern)
