Acording my converter is about 670.000 euro ( if i took the correct krone )
A few years back it was part of the Brumos collection.
The leather straps in front were to hold the extra gas tanks during long test drive's if i recall right.

For the records, other very early 902 prototypes have been 13 328 (engine 902 279) and 13 329.
There are more than 10 prototypes 901 built and about 13 are detailed documented:Records show that 10 prototypes 901 were built and 5 prototypes 902.
(13321-13330 but also 13 331-13 333, 13352, 13360, 13396, 300 001, 300 002).
Literature also documents 300 001 ("Prototype 12") and 300 002 ("Prototype 13") as very early factory 901 prototypes.
Change from 901 to 911 was at 300 049.

Yes for 13 394 and for 13 330: I stand corrected.
No. 28 is listed as one of the two 902 test car within the first batch, even it had first a 901 engine.
As for 13 352, it was sold on Sept. 17th 1965. (similar to 13 327 "Barbarossa), 13 328, 13 330, 300 001).
Contrary to 13 321, 13 322, 13 325 who got factory destroyed, known to not have survived.

Anyhow, 13 394: beautiful car !

it was first sold a Porsche client 12th may 1967 (Porsche had to make way for the LWB arrival), it has also been part of the Brumos collection and was restored bij Mr. Dennis Frick from Europa Macchina. A friend of him used to own in until recently (don't know the exact date, but I could have bought it sometime early 2012)
It was sold to Sweden I believe, where it came up for sale now.
Great opportunity to own a special rare piece of Porsche history.

Looks like a Massachusetts license plate in that article
Excellent article and well researched historical infos.
Interesting, they quote even its 13394, factory documents cannot show if it was built as a true 902 in October 1964 or, since the factory finished the car only in December 1964, already in final specification 912.
The five digit shows it clearly as a protoype but since there was no chronological order in chassis building, the prototype chassis could have been left until December, when receiving its engine.
13394 original color was (polo?) red.
As Aichele wrote in his book (and Long i beleive too), initially the 902 was planned to have a 4 cylinder derivate of the 6 cylinder 901 engine. For budget reasons, it was then decided to use instead a modified 356SC 4 cyl. engine.
