    1971 T Distributor rotor

My friend just bought a 1971 T. I pulled the distributor cap and found that the rotor has two screws at its top and is actually screwed into the distributor. I have never seen this as it is typically just pushed down into the notched area and stays in place that way.

Is having the rotor installed with two hold down screws normal or correct?

    Thanks again,,,,
